...a chichi downtown salon or grungy stripmall hair butcher. It's definitely not some overblown spa. We don't do manicures. We don't do shoe shines. Facials? Nix. Foot treatments? Nein. Deep tissue massage? Nyet. We leave the touchy-feely stuff to others.
MenEssentials is a cool little neighbourhood barber shop in the heart of Ottawa's Westboro Village, where guys pick up their must-have grooming goods and get a truly exceptional haircut at a fair price. We also do shaves. If you prefer friendly service mixed with a bit of light jazz in a relaxing club-like atmosphere, then bring your unruly mop to us. Two pre-shave oil facial massages, shave cream lather with traditional badger brush, and two hot foam lathers interspersed with five gloriously hot towels. One expertly delivered DE razor shave with the grain, a second across the grain for super-close smoothness. Cold towel press with successive applications of post-shave cooling and moisturizing lotions. Finished with a hot towel scalp massage, plus a neck and shoulder rub to send you on your way.
