i dont know why people are saying it smells bad either. i got samples from barneys to test out the product and its worked really well. as with any moisturizer, you dont need to apply a lot of it to get hydrated. this stuff works great. it is the fastest absorbing moisturizer ive used, and definitely helps keep a matte finish until the evening

Worth every penny. Absorbs well. Non greasy. Fight breakouts on my sensitive skin rather than causing them like most moisturizers.

A good moisturizer but leaves a weird smell afterwards that lingers all day. I prefer Anthony Logistics All Purpose Moisturizer or Anthony Logistics Facial Moisturizer with SPF 15, they both leave a pleasant smell afterwards. All say that they are "fragrance free" but this just means that no fragance has been added but you can still smell on the face the ingredients they use. Anthony's smells really good; MenScience smells bad but it is an effective moisturizer, if you can deal with the smell. Tony

I totally agree that it has some kind of chemical smell to it, but this face lotion does work great. It definitly restored my skin's elasticity and complexion. All of my freinds noticed a difference. Loved it!

It smells not that great but doesn't stay on the face either. it might feel a little bit thick and strange at first - but dries very quickly and what is left? simply the best, oil free, non greasy and moisturising face lotion out there! two thumps up for ms!

I think it is a good product but not an excellent one. It has weird smell to it ( remainds me of chemical solution used in school lab). If I shave in the morning and
apply it at night it stings my face quite a bit. Also keep away from eye area.

This is OK when applied, but the strange smell gets worse as the day goes on. By about lunchtime it actually makes me feel sick.

This product actually works very quickly BUT it leaves a funky chemical after smell that lingers all day and actually worsens as the day goes on. I can't recommend it.

This is an average moisturizer, in my opinion. It leaves my face more shiny than I like. Additionally, it doesn't absorb as well as other moisturizers - it leaves a film that I can feel. I like that it's oil free, as my forehead is oily, however oil free in this case doesn't mean shine free. The scent doesn't bother me, however it definitely isn't the best smelling product on the market.

This face lotion is feels almost more like an aftershave than a lotion. After putting it on my face felt a slight burning sensation and a tingling which leaves me with the impression that my face is actually being dried out though indeed it may be moustrized. I did like that the lotion is not greasy and is easily absorbed by the skin.

Recieved a tiny sampler of this when I purchased some other items from menessentials. The sampler lasted for about 10 days (used it once a day). I was really impressed with the the way it made my face look and feel. I'm only 21 so I dont have any major wrinkling. I do have occasional acne blemishes and while I was using this my face was in great shape. I'm a college student so 32 bucks for a bottle seems pricey. I'm trying another, less expensive moisturizer. Hopefully I will be as pleased. If not, I will definitely buy this. I recommend it to anyone!

By the way, Menessentials is a great company. Very professional and simple.

This stuff stinks, my girlfriend hates the smell, avoid this product. It might work well, which i don't even a gree on that one, but what's the point on using a product that has a foul odor so you look good but you'll have to keep your distance. I recommend Anthony Logistics or Sharp's instead.

Great for moisturizing. I live in a humid area, so it’s important for me not to have to put something greasy on my skin. This lotion keeps my skin smooth, and doesn’t leave it feeling slimy.

Fantastic moisturizer for those with combination or oily skin. Goes on matte and absorbs quickly. Oddly, I find it works well in both the summer and winter climes for my face, though I tend to use this product only as a night moisturizer. Might not be moisturizing enough for dry skin types, I am guessing! I read some find the smell distasteful, while I don't notice much of a smell at all. I have to sniff my hands after rubbing it in to notice it. It does smell kind of chemical, but it does go away. My only gripe is the steep price and the bottle design. When you get near the end of the bottle, you have smack the container repeatedly to get those last precious amounts out, else you might waste a good amount! I highly recommend this moisturizer and thinks its easily one of the best I've tried so far.

I found it didn't moisturize enough. My cheeks would be flaky (could have been the cleanser though). But I didn't notice the smell that many mentioned. Seemed odourless to me.

I got this as a sample and love it. I don't notice any smell. It may have that reaction with some peoples chemical makeup. Just like cologne giving off different scents on different people. It does have a tingle to it and it's very light.
I like it much better than the Baxter product which feels very greasy compared to this product.

A "very" light and absorbing moisturizer. It works very well with my oily skin and I too prefer this product over the Baxter oil-free. As far as smell, I didn't really detect any at all.

I live in north dakota and i have used this for 4 days now morning and at night right after using there scrub or wash the face lotion leaves my skin dry and flaky looking after applying it.I sent a complaint to mens science and am awaiting there response.

the moisturizer doesn't smell bad, I'm not sure why others are writing that. It doesn't smell at all. that's because it's free of fragrance, dyes, menthol and all of those harmful ingredients. That's why there is so much junk sold by other companies, because many people don't appreciate a good product when they see one. this is an outstanding moisturizer, the ingredients are all top notch. I recommend it all the way

Fantastic product. Has never made my skin break out even on hot, sweaty days. This is the only moisturizer I can use without breaking out. Leaves my skin feeling revived and evened out but not greasy at all. I little bit goes a long way so the price is not too bad considering one tube lasts me 3+months.

i read that alot of people say this stuff smells horrible, but that's not true... maybe a few years ago when some of the reviews were written, this stuff may have smelt bad, but i felt that this product had almost no scent. in fact the face wash smelt waaayyy worse then the moisturizer. if you suffer from oily skin, large pores and black heads on your nose, then I'd highly recomment the menscience products. they worked wonders for my skin, especially in the realm of keeping my face less oily and my nose area clear.

I got a sample of this with my most recent order, and I have to say it's the best I have used so far. It go's on lite and stays that way all day, and my face never fills greasy.
