Initial testing proves this to be a very good product. The texture is a bit less thick than the Supershape and there is no scent whatsoever. Very nice matte finish that lasts. These are excellent features in my view, and much appreciated.
My skin is very dry, so I will have to see how this performs on its own over the long term. It is great, however, to have no late-in-the-day shine from this.
Overall, I think the Baxter's Oil Free is going to be another hit from a house that produces a very good grooming range at an extraordinary price point. Men with oily skins are likely to find this more satisfactory than men with very dry skins, but YMMV. The lack of an SPF may make this a non-starter for some as well.

Leaves nice matte finish that lasts. Goes on light and absorbs quickly. Excellent overall. Better then Anthony Logistics Oil Free.

A brilliant product.
I have lost count of the number of products i've tried, and the money i've spent trying to find a moisturiser that doesn't makes me look ridiculously shiny. I use this after the also brilliant Baxter face wash, and only a week and a half in my skin is looking better than it ever has done.

"My skin type: Normal to oily (see some shine in the afternoon); prone to occasional breakouts.
Pros: Absorbs quickly. My face is dramatically less shiny come afternoon time. Lightweight. My face is much less acne prone (probably due to the oil-free nature of the lotion). I use this product with Kiehls' cucumber toner.
Cons: Your face may not feel instantly moisturized/comfortable. Tad bit tacky (although less so if you put it on right after you tone). No SPF (but hey, I'll take the oil/shine free any day over SPF).

Very good product. Reasonably priced and does everything it claims. It goes on well and leaves a matte finish. No shine whatsoever. You could actually skip using a toner even. An excellent value considering it's very similar to the considerably more expensive Metro Male Daily Moisturizer. A lot of bang for your buck with this one.

Excellent is the word for this lotion. This is the only lotion I've tried that lasts all day and is not at all oily. It is absorbed quickly and doesn't leave any mess in my goatee or sideburns. It leaves my skin soft and feeling smooth all day...this sounds like a commercial. Lives up to it's description for sure. If I could afford it, I'd use it over my entire body. Worth every penny!

Another hit from a great skin care company ! : ) It does what it says... A LONG LASTING MOSTURIZER WITHOUT ANY SHINE ! I wish I could find it earlier , specially before my wedding day.

I have been looking for years for a moisturizer that will not make my combination skin oily w/ a hour of applying. This moisturizer is simply the best there is and the price is fantastic. I pretty much use everything from Baxter's b/c of the quality and the price. If you have combination or oily skin... this is the best product!

I'd recommend this to those with normal or oily skin, but not dry. It doesn't provide enough moisture to my dry skin, I find I have to reapply it about half an hour after I put it on.
It goes on matte though, and I've had any negative effects due to it.

If only this had sunscreen, you could toss out the Super Shape completely. Good move by Baxter in bringing this oil free product to market.

This is just what I was looking for and didn't think i would find. A moisturizer that wasn't shiny and oily on my face by the afternoon. Just a little goes a very long way. I'm really glad I tried this. Highly recommended.

Good stuff! If it had an SPF, I'd use it as my daily moisturizer (Jack Black 2 in 1 has that role). Smooth and absorbs quickly, matte finish with no greasiness later in the day. Tried it as a "before bed" moisturizer and like it, though I personally prefer something with AHA for that (e.g. Baxter's AHA Night Creme). Good moisturizer for the money!

This stuff's fantastic...I shave my head, and it's a great moisturizer for the dome...keeps the shine down, ya know? Tough to find a product that keeps things in order this dry time of year...love it

Everyone kept going on and on about how great this product is. Well, numbers don't lie and I am now also a huge fan of this moisturizer after using it for a few weeks. For most guys I would think they could use this moisturizer for the rest of their lives. I want to order more but ME is currently out of stock--I think I'll order 3 or 4 next time. Excellent company, a great value for the money, and truly one of the best products out there for men.

I decided to try the oil free cream after seeing the positive press it received on this site....I was dissappointed, not the feeling of an oil-free cream, very think and immediatly felt greasy. The greasiness did fade as the day progressed. Although the next day I had acne which remained until I discontinued use. I usually don't have much in the way of acne problems (31 years old)
Just not the best product on the market by far. I previously used Anthony Logistics for Men's oil free face cream and will return to using this as it is much better and worth the extra few dollars.

Amazing stuff! I have dry skin that tends to get oily in the T Zone by mid day but this stuff balances it out perfectly and has not caused one breakout since I have been using it. This is by far the best moisturizer that I have ever used. Give it a try!

I have oily/normal skin, and experienced the increase in shine that a few of the other reviewers did with this stuff. I felt like it went on greasy, and made my skin glassy looking. I applied small amounts in waves to make sure I wasnt overapplying. I really wanted to like this stuff. Maybe I got a little spoiled because I tried many of the MenScience products first, which I have had very positive experiences with. 3 stars for this one...

With all of the great comments, I thought I'd give it a try. How disappointing! After applying, my skin felt greasy and looked shiny. It also left me with minimal acne at day's end. I'll take my Zirh Defend (which also has spf 15) over this stuff any day.
