Description
Jack Black Beard Lube is different from whipped-cream style foams and gels. It's a pre-shave, shave cream and skin moisturizer, all in one. The lightweight formula provides a thin, lubricating layer to hold in moisture so the blade glides easily through your whiskers, helping to prevent razor burn. Eucalyptus and peppermint stimulate skin while jojoba and macadamia nut oil penetrate below the surface to soften new whisker growth for an easier, closer shave. The transparent lotion lets you see where you're shaving for fewer nicks and cuts. Jack Black Beard Lube rinses easily and won't clog your blade.

My "beard" is more of a 5 o clock shadow, but I can honestly say that Beard Lube is by far the best shaving product I have used. Nicks and irritation are a thing of the past for me. And it rinses easily out of my DE razor. That being said, I've tried other brushless products as well as traditional English creams, but always come back to Beard Lube. My combination skin has never felt as smooth. Well worth the price. I am a Beard Lube user for life!

This is the best shave product I have ever tried, and I have tried them all. It provides a wonderful lube for my double edge razor. Kind of looks like a hair conditioner or lotion. Very nice cent. Great guard from nicks and cuts. Prior to this, I thought SHARPS SHAVE GEL was the best gel and ARAMIS MAXIMUM COMFORT SHAVE CREAM was the best cream, however this is ulimately better than both. Another nice quality of this product is that it is highly rinsable. The ARAMIS cream is not. The Sharps gel is not really either, and does not work as well with a double edged razor. This stuff seems flawless!!!! GREAT PRODUCT!!! Jack Black ROCKS!

I was using another product on this website for some time now and was very satisfied. In my last order there was a sample of this and it sat in my cabinet for a while until last week. I gave it a three day trial run and I have to mention that I like it quite a bit more than the other brand I was using. My skin is much softer, the razor glides a little easier & I just ordered a tube that I plan to begin using after my old shave product is gone. EXCELLENT!!!!

Been using this for about 2 weeks and it's not bad. I like the Anthony Logistics cream and Origins better because they seem to give you a closer shave and use less product. This smells great and will leave your skin pretty moist, but it's not as great as some people are making it out to be.

Based upon all the reviews I had heard about how great this product is, I decided to try it. Once used however, it found it's way quickly back to the store. I have used a number of products and this is the first one that actually seemed to burn a bit while using. Also it didn't seem to give as close a shave as other products. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't find this to be that great of a product. It is better than the store bought products you find all over the place but there are definately better products out there.

Lots of people love this cream, but its just too thin for me. I found that I had to use a ton of Beard Lube to keep my skin from getting irritated.

I've tried alot of different shave gels and creams, and this one is my favorite. It has the perfect balance between shave conditioning and "slipperiness" for regular shaving (I use a Mach 3 razor). I can compare it to Zirh's shave gel (top notch!), except Beard Lube needs less water on the face to lubricate, and the skin conditioners leave my skin feeling clean, comfortable and moisturized. I use a nickel-sized amount spread over my face, then let it sit for about 30-45 seconds before shaving. Works well enough that I can shave in the opposite direction a few times and still have it lubed. Contrary to popular wisdom, I shave once with the beard grain, then once against the grain for a closer shave. Some shave creams/gels didn't like that.. Beard Lube stays put so it doesn't irritate my face. It also doesn't clog my razor. Pleasant, light scent of eucalyptus and rinses VERY easily with cool water! Big bonus that it comes in a smaller "travel" sized container. Great stuff!!!

Amazing shaving product!!! I can honestly say without a doubt that this is the very first product that has actually allowed me to avoid razor burn EVERY time I use it. It's a strong statement to make considering all the products I've tried, but this stuff works. It's a bit strange the first time because it applies like a lotion and it takes very little amounts for each shave, but the "Built in Water" really seems to shine. I would recommend it best after the shower. A+ in my book.

Having used this product for the life of one entire bottle I have come to the conclusion that Jack Black Beard Lube is an above average product that falls short to my first preference, Anthony Logistics. The reason is that the shave comes to be not as close, more iritated and more nicked than Anthony's. Also, it clogs the razor too frequently. However, I do like to keep some around becasue it goes on clear and if you are trying to trim a nice sharp goatee then it is critical that the shave cream be as clear as possible so as not to over shave and risk messing the goatee up. For this reason I think its excellent as it gives you shaving visibility which is an overlooked factor for those who shave in gaotees and other facial hair styles.

The best. I have a tough, thick beard, and this is the goods. Another outstanding product from Jack Black (in addition to the face buff and oil control lotion). I get a great shave, without scrapes and cuts and it rinses out of the razor with ease. I highly recommend.

I got a trial package for this product and it works really well. It gives a smooth and clean shave. Rinse very easily and doesn't give much of irritation after the shave. It's a great product!

This is an outstanding product in terms of lubrication and skin conditioning. I use a DE razor and with two passes, one with and one perpendicular to the grain, I can get a very smooth, irritation free shave. The downside is that it goes on clear and I like to see where my razor is tracking.
You only need to use a quarter sized amount like it says on the package and really you could probably get by with less. Recommended for guys who need to detail their beards or who don't mind not getting any tracking feedback from the razor.
