experience, Truefitt & Hill Ultimate Comfort Pre-shave Oil is a time-honored
treatment for men with heavier beards or sensitive skin. Formulated with 10
light botanical oils, this citrus-scented pre-shave provides additional glide
for the blade while it soothes, conditions and moisturizes. Will not clog pores
or multi-blade cartridges. Will not damage shave brushes. Apply before shaving
cream. Use sparingly.

Sunflower Seed Oil,
Avacado Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Glyceryl Oleate, Fume Silica, Kukui Seed Oil,
Laureth-4, Grapefruit Peel Oil, Tangerine Peel Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf
Extract, Cucumber Fruit Extract, Canola Oil, Safflower Seed Oil, Tocopherol,

Wasn't sure if this was really adding much to the shave soap, but I've found it should be applied to a wet face first. Applying to dry skin doesn't seem to work well. I bought it initially to help get past the shaving bumps and ingrown hairs, but after going with a shave brush and a DE razor those are a thing of the past. Now I use this to help the razor glide over my normal trouble areas (jaw line and base of neck) to give a really nice shave. Highly recommended for any shaving routine.

I love this product. It really allows my razor to give me a nice, close smooth shave. The scent is nice too. You do not need to use much so it lasts a long time. When you first it be careful not to use too much. Be nice if the top has a small hole to control the flow a little better. Highly recommended.

Mixed review. I agree that this product is very lubricating, has a pleasant citrus scent and lasts a long time. However, I am not convinced that it adds much if you are already using a high quality shave soap/cream and brush. Try it and see for yourself.

Overall, an excellent product. Amazing scent. Its also a very "thin" and light oil, unlike Anthony or Art of Shaving. I feel no left over residue after shaving. I haven't been a big fan of shave oils in the past, but I definitely recommend this one.

I was expecting MUCH more due to the high price. I am very disappointed in this product and I will be returning to The Art of Shaving PreShave oil.

The jury is still out on this preshave oil for me. It seems to rub into my skin a bit too easily considering its function; lubricating my shave. I find it a bit hard to apply because there is just an open top. When I get to the application part of my regimen I find myself cringing while I apply this product to my skin. Considering the high price, and the poor dispensary top, application is an adventure. I use this oil on my neck and chin line, I did not find it to be overly useful for my cheeks, goatee area, or below my sideburns. -Quality oil that must be used on a wet face, I’ll keep my eye out for an alternative however.-

It's just oil, why did I pay $30 dollars for a bottle the size of two fingers ??? Works very well with/without shaving cream; nice scent. But its too expensive, it ran out for me in a matter of a month. I'm in The Army so I have to shave every work day. Left my skin soft enough to where I didn't have to use aftershave. If you can afford it, then you should Buy it. I won't be buying this one anymore only because of the price and no other reason.

Poor packaging, ridiculous price, and the oil's too thin. American Crew has the best pre-shave oil and The Art of Shaving Lavender is second. The trick with TAOS oils is to use less than they say to use.
