If you are looking for a very close shave (with or without a brush) no matter what your skin type, this is it. Provides great protection and good lubrication without clogging up my Mach 3. Best shave cream out there for the money.

I am not very impressed with this product. I used silvertip brush to apply it. It does not create great lather ( like English creams do ) You need lots of cream just to create anything. Shave was ok but not a great experience. Definitely not a good product to use with shaving brush.

It's OK. Baxter's isn't the best shaving cream, but definitely better than most. I don't like how it doesn’t lather, but the shave is fair. I prefer Sharps shaving gel, but Baxter’s is a great value and worth trying.

I was disappointed with this product. I also used a silvertip brush to apply it. This cream was just too watery and did not create a very rich lather. I have been testing around since Kiehl’s discontinued their brush shave cream. Products tested so far include L’Occitane’s Cade Shaving Cream, The Art of Shaving (so far the best). The last one on my list to try is Musgo Real from Portugal.

This product is better then most drugstore brands, but only provides a shave that is adequate. I keep a tube of this at my girlfriends, but doubt I would use this in my daily routine. A good value for the price, but better products are available from this site.

I recently samped this product. The got a really close shave with the rich, thick lather i was able to produce with my brush. Great price, great value. Definitely buying this one when my anthony logistics shaving cream runs out.

A good overall product which I keep in my shaving cream rotation. Nice scent, nice lubrication.

Yes the shaving cream is light and I can understand why some guys with heavy beards would not like this product. However, since my beard is fairly light I love this product. It gives me a close shave and makes my skin look and feel great at a good price. 5 stars for me.

Too thin for my taste.

First shave cream I've ever had to pour. Very thin and runs everywhere in my wet palm. Doesn't foam much at all and has a problem staying in place on my face. Scent is okay, having a very faint peppermint odor. The shave itself wasn't very good, as I found it ran off my face and I keep needing to apply more. There are much better products out there for only a few dollars more.. I'd go with those.

This cream is pretty good, although it doesn't produce a huge lather like a traditional cream or soap. Adding too much water will make it unbearably runny. The best thing I've found is to thoroughly wet my face, then add the cream with a damp brush. Works well this way with good lubrication.
