I personally like the scent, but it is fairly strong since it's made with essential oils. I tried it with my DE razor, horrible, not slippery enough. Quite the razor burn even while using the pre-shave oil (which seems to gunk up brushes) It's also very hard to lather. Tryed it again with a mach 3, because different soaps work better or worse depending on the type of razor. I really wanted it to work. Still a no-go. Really it's too bad because I really like the natural calming scent for those night time, no time in the morning shaves. Overall, nice scent, but comes off as English cream knockoff.

Nice smell, too expensive. I bought this while serving a tour in Mosul, Iraq with the 1st Cavalry Division. I have sensitive problematic skin and the shaving cream in the mini mall over there only offered cheap high cologne fragranced brands. So I ordered this online. When I finnaly recieved it, I realized that I spent $22 on plain light scented soap. It's too soapy, leaves my skin dry and irritated. Also used it in the states (different water source) and had the same effect. Its still sitting in my bottom drawer, in my bathroom a year later. Bottom line is that it's too expensive for the minimal results.
