Any of the Art of Shaving products are excellent. A tad expensive but excellent. I especially like the sandalwood products. They leave a wonderfull smell behind that most women find exquisite. The scent doesn't effect the quality of the other products either, all are very good. I highly recomend.

Not a huge fan of this shavwe cream. It takes a lot of cream to make a good lather with a badger brush. Your skin feels slightly dry after shaving, so you may require an after shave or moiturizer with it (some guys might prefer the dryer feel). The scent is good and won't linger for too long. Not worth the $22 however. Truefitt and Hill, Jack Black or Proraso all offer better shaves for my dollar.

I agree with the above review. It is nice but not for my dollar when half the money will get me a smoother, less irritating shave from Anthony's. I did however like it better than Jack Blacks which did not work for me (however, I must be an anomaly b/c almost no one carries the same complaints as I do). The smell is great as it has a spicier, masculine fragrance that is not over bearing. Takes alot more to lather the face compared to Anthonys or Jack Black and face is drier afterwards. Good but not for the money. Maybe if it were $10-12.

I alternate between this product and the much less expensive Tom's of Maine shave cream. I agree with the other reviews. This does tend to dry my skin after shaving. Compared to Tom's, it still offers a better shave. Skin is soft, and the blade glides very well over the skin while using this. I use a badger hair brush, but I find this is a bit more lubricating with a little in my fingers and a bit of water. It goes on a little thinner, and is much slicker than the foam created with a brush. Like the other reviews, I find to use this with a brush takes a lot of cream to lather well. Unlike the Tom's product, which does an excellent job with the brush, and not the other way around. The scent is pleasant and masculine.
