I tried this product as a replacement for the old standard alchol based products from the locl store and found it to greatly improve the effectiveness of my electric razor. I use a blade when I have time, but on the days I'm rushed or need to clean up at the office after a long day, before an evening meeting, I found the product to be much better than the supermarket products available.

Outstanding product for my beard, beats all the other products I've tried. No burn and it allows my electric razor to handle what up until now was a blade only beard. Now daily the electric does the job with razor trim when the need appears.

How well this product works for you will probably depend largely on your shaver.

I use a foil, a Braun Activator, and for me this stuff works wonderfully. It works as advertised, goes on easily, smells fine (has very little fragrance), and is a decent value. I have rather sensitive skin, but since trying this I have no razorburn or redness. Highly recommended.

I actually tried this stuff on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. I love the fragrance, and as with many JB products, a little goes a long way. (Actually, I found that if I use too much of this, it makes it more difficult to shave.) For the record, I use a Panasonic Vortex shaver.

By far the worst pre-electric shave I have ever used. This one actually made the shave more difficult and painful. It quickly absorbed into my skin/beard and did nothing. I would use the $3 drug store pre-electric before using this one again. For the record, the one that seems to work the best is the California North.
