This is by far the best shave cream I have tried. Provides a slick shaving surface that prevents any nicks or irritation. Nice light citrus scent. And to top it all off, it is the best value. Highly recommended!

It provides a nice smooth gliding surface for my Merkur HD. The citrus scent is ok at first, but gets really obnoxious quickly. I guess I prefer creams with as little scent as possible.

I bought this shavecream and a few other brands because my 1st choice (Baxter) was out of stock. The only good thing about the cream is its clean, citrus scent. The cream gave my face a burning sensation even before shaving -- razor burn without the razor! I seem to get more nicks with this and it did not produce a close shave. Product is a bit on the runny side so it does not stick well to the face or beard.

I love the scent of this cream. It came in the California North starter set. Unfortunately, like the previous reviewer stated, it burns like nothing i've ever come acroos. I got though one razor stroke and had to wipe it off. No ill after effects once it was off. I must say, judging from the one patch i did manage to shave, it did work quite well. Overall works quite well, just not for me.

I do not care for this product at all. As other reviewers have pointed out, this cream burns from the moment it's applied. If I have to use this (when it's the only thing left in the cabinet), it's like a race to the finish, just to get it off my face. The shave it offers isn't bad, but it's not worth the burn. I like CN's aftershave, and facial moisturizer, but they missed the mark on this one.
