Worth every penny! Truefitt & Hill's Shave Soap in combination with their oil produces such an exquisite shave, it has to be seen to be believed. I was shaving with Anthony Logistics shave cream prior to this and the difference is world's apart. I was unnecessarily cheating and beating my skin before using this product.

Excellent product! I have been using Truefitt & Hill's West Indian Limes and Trafalgar shaving creams for the past year before deciding to give this product a try. I am very glad I made the switch. While the Truefitt & Hill creams provide a terrific shave, this shave soap truly provides a luxurious shave as it's name suggests. The Luxury Shave Soap appears to produce a thinner lather than the creams. However, the soap's lather tends to hold a lot more moisture than the creams. This thinner and more moisture-intense lather allows the blade to glide over my face without the slightest drag as I sometimes noticed with the creams. Also, when I used the scented creams, my face would sometimes become slightly irritated and burn, but not so with the soap. So, if you have sensitive skin, this product might be for you.
As far as fragarance goes, most sites will describe this product as having no fragarance. However, as some already know, that means that no fragarance has been added to the Luxury Shave Soap and does not give credit to the very clean and invigorating scent that this soap naturally has. So, if you want to smell like a fruit, flower or nut, then you know where to go. ENJOY!

I had never used shave soap before this product, just creams. I figured I'd try it. My face is sensitive and my beard heavy with a dry beard area. I found this product drying and also not as lubricating as some of the creams I've used.

This shave soap was the first product I've used for wet shaving and I think it is great for lathering up. I found it not to be drying as others claim, just as long as you're not stingy with the water. I love the smell and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. Thanks again MenEssentials.

Fantastic product. Light herbal scent. My face feels matte, not dry, after shaving. Lasts forever. Get the water/cream ratio right and you'll be rewarded by some nice slick lather.

This stuff is great and one cake seems to last FOREVER! One thing, though, is that I can definitely tell the difference when my water softener is acting up. Soft water + shaving soap = GOOD; hard water = BAD
