If you prepare your face prior to use of these blades, you will get a very smooth, close, and long-lasting shave. Depending on how much time I have, I use a facial scrub, then soap, and a good gel or cream (not foam). If I am in a hurry, I just wash with soap, rinse, and apply shaving gel and shave. The single-edge blades leave fewer razor burns and ingrown hairs than the triple-bladed razors.

These blades are excellent. I recently went back to using double edge blades prompted by the ridiculously high prices of those multiple blade cartridges. I am so glad I did! Not only are these blades very inexpensive in comparison, but they give a much better shave!

Excellent blades! I recently went on a trip and took my old Sensor Excel -- the difference in the shave was incredible: I had stubble after a few hours with the Excel.
At 50 cents apiece, how can you argue? I won't use anything else.

Mach III and Fusion eat your heart out! These blades are great, shave a lot better than those overpriced gimmicks and don't chew your face. I'm glad I took the plunge into wet shaving.

Yeah, spend your money on Feather, Derby, Swedish Gillette, or Israeli Personna(Crystal) blades. These are not great and way overpriced.

Very nice blades. Used one for the first time today with the Merkur Futur and Proraso shave cream and result was a smooth nick free shave. The price is great as well.
