This hard guck from Sharps will give your lid serious anti-gravity lift with a healthy hair finish. Hi-tech grip allows you to mold, scrunch, bunch and spike to your heart's content. Contains UV filters to protect color-treated hair from the sun. Works best on dry or towel-dried hair.

I've been trying a ton of different products lately in my search for a truly hard-holding styling aid. I've even been using Murray's Superior Pomade, which many people swear by as the ultimate hold pomade, but I've found that it breaks down and becomes soft and greasy as the day wears on - not to mention how hard it is to remove with shampoo.

I have long hair on top that really needs some heavy-duty product to keep it styled and under control. So I obtained a sample of the Hard Guck and tried it for the first time today - my first impressions are that this is excellent stuff. It has a nice consistency when applying and seems to spread naturally through the hair. The scent is pleasant and subtle. Most importantly, this stuff actually holds my hair! I've had it on for half a day now and, unlike the other products I've been using, my hair is still in place and looking great.

Hopefully I'm not jumping the gun by posting my review so early on, but it seems like Mission: Control Hard Guck is the real deal.

Been using Hard Guck for well over a year, and I must say its my go to styling aid. This stuff is definately the "real deal" as it was coined by the previous reviewer. Works great in the summer too, not succumbing to the pressures of humidity as so many other styling aids do. If you put on too much, it will leave a residual coating, that is quite obvious when you touch your hair. But its a small price to pay for some solid control, that's easily shaped, and easy to move through.

This is one I keep around always.
