Maintenance

Your new brush may smell of moth balls when you first use it. This is a harmless preservative that repels bacteria and micro organisms from the badger hair. It'll wash out after a few days.

Never press the brush onto your skin. Stroke it sideways like a painter's brush, to avoid breaking the hairs.

After use, rinse and shake out the brush to remove excess water. Hang in a well-ventilated place to dry.
This is a terrific brush for the price. The Silvertip bristles are very soft. I have other Silvertip brushes that are not as soft as this so I would say this very nearly compares to Super Badger brushes in the texture of the brush. You won't find a better brush at this price point.
