Gives very close, smooth, comfortable shave. Has a slight "buring" sensation comparable to the sensation of the Anthony Logistics Clay Mask but it is nothing close to intolerable. I prefer english shave creams such as Truefitt and Hill applied with a Badger Hair brush but this is my shave gel of choice for travel and when I am in a hurry and don't have time to do my normal shave routine.

One of the best brushless products I've ever used.

I no longer dread shaving. My face used to feel tight and dried out after shaving with grocery store brands, but after using Sharps my skin is moisturized. The sensation I get from the Sharps is not all unpleasant and the scent is great.

Love it. I do have sensitive skin, but the burning sensation does not bother me one bit. Yes there is a tingle, but this shave gel rocks. Love how its transparent as well

Best shave I've ever had. I'll proably stick with this gel for the rest of my shaving days. But it does burna a little at first.

Personally, I don't care for this shave gel too much (which I know is contrary to the opinions of others). I have a fairly thick beard and I personally find that I did experience quite a bit of irritation after using this product. In addition, I don't like transparent gels (this isn't anything bad about the product, just my personal preference). I prefer foaming type products as I can use the remaining foam on my face as a guide so I know where I haven't shaved. I also don't like the scent.

For me, this did not quite lubricate enough by itself. I have been using it as a pre-shave followed by a wet shave with brush + soap, with great results.

very good shave gel, but it tends to gunk up the razor easily.

This product produces a tingling sensation that I find very refreshing. It's very smooth but I found that it's best used with a preshave oil.

I tried this out for a week based on reviews here and was pretty disappointed. The gel seemed to disappear after a single stroke of my DE razor making shaving feel like scraping ice off of a windshield with a plastic spoon... Doesn't hold a candle to Jack Black or even Anthony's shave cream.

This seemed to work well and caused little irritation, but I disliked it nonetheless. It was a transparent gel, and in bathrooms with poor lighting you could never tell where you had applied. It also gunked up my razor with just each pull. I may be biased towards foaming gels, so if you prefer them non-foaming, disregard my review.

Just got this as a free sample. I've been using a brush, merkur blade, T&H comfort cream, and brave soldier after shave for almost a year, and I have to say that this gel was really really good. I like the soothing sensation the menthone ingredient gives. Clean up is much easier, and is much faster to apply to your face. It gave me a close shave, and it felt like I had already applied after shave. Will definately consider this the next time I buy shaving cream.

Got this as a free sample with my last order, let me just say, WOW! Best brushless product I have ever used. I was a bit worried when I applied it but after a few strokes with my slant bar I was in no foam heaven! I will order this when I am out of the sample. Great product!

I find that I always want to try new shaving creams/gels even when I am happy with the one that I am using, but I keep coming back to this one, and have to agree, it's the best around.

Wasn't impressed with this product. I shave in the shower. You can't see it on your face and it's easy to miss spots. It also has the texture of warm snot. I'm a foaming cream guy. Will probably move to Acca Kappa. Very impressed with that line of products.
