Sure, it's easy to use stock photography of good-looking and well-groomed professional models whom we've never met and who don't know us from a hole in the ground. Professional model. This could be you. But we'd rather have a website that offers real skin care solutions to real men.

That's why we're asking you to submit the very best of your digital portraits. It gives you a chance to show off your finest threads, that great new hairstyle — and of course the healthy-looking skin you've come to depend on for your social and professional aspirations.

The following information explains what type of images we hope to receive, how to submit them, and how much we pay for the privilege of flashing your handsome mug on the front page of our site.

Content Guidelines
If you're a MenEssentials veteran, then you know we prefer individual head shots over group or full-body photos. We're especially interested in:

• Spontaneous images of well-dressed and well-groomed men of any age or ethic origin.

• Serious athletes and weekend warriors enjoying their favorite sport in the great outdoors.

• Club scenes with no more than two people as the focus of the shot.

• Wedding photos! Why not share your happiness with others?

• Vacation images of you on the beach or in the presence of spectacular landmarks.
• SERIOUS SUBMISSIONS ONLY. Please, this is not an opportunity to send us pornography just for giggles.

Technical Guidelines
When considering photos for submission, please take into account the following:

•	Images should be bright, well-lit, strikingly colorful, and engaging to our website visitors. Breathtaking scenery or exotic locations are particulary interesting as backdrops. Be sure you are the subject of the image.
•	Images should be of a reasonably high resolution with few or no defects in quality.
•	We prefer high resolution images or scans on CD-ROM. Do not send images by email as file attachments. Do not send film.

Compensation
If your image is selected, we will pay you USD $150 for the right to use your likeness on the front page of our website for three months.

How to Submit
Please include on your CD-ROM a VIRUS-FREE Microsoft Word file that contains:

•	Your name, email address, daytime and evening telephone numbers, and full mailing address.
•	A description of where each photo was taken, as well as any other details that you think are relevant to the image.

Professional model. This could be you.

If you want us to return your CD-ROM, please also include a self-addressed, prepaid padded envelope that is large enough to hold the CD jewel case. If you are submitting from outside Canada, include an international reply coupon as your return postage payment. We are not responsible for damage to the CD during transit.

Finally, please enclose written and signed consent from any identifiable individuals featured in your image. Sample consent:

"I am of legal age and grant (photographer's name) the right to photograph, make use of and permit others to make use of my name and likeness. This permission includes the rights to edit, duplicate and broadcast. I have no ownership or interest in the product.
